Treehouse Brand Stores

Apparel, Art Direction, Identity, Production

Mr. Shively spent a nice chunk of time at Treehouse Brand Stores. They make licensed apparel for the video game industry. I hoped my way up the Q*bert pyramid from Production Designer to Design Director. Some of my responsibilities were managing a team of illustrators, press checks for print and apparel, art directing photo shoots, tech packs and… modeling. Some people think I look like a Warcraft raid leader. I also influenced product development and helped THBS diversify into snowboards, poster art and headwear.

Our clients included Mass Effect, Plants Vs. Zombies, Bioshock and Dragon Age. It was a fun first-person design game set in an office where commerce faced off against art and gaming.
